Present Sufferings

We may face times of challenge, times where we can’t see how things are going to pan out or where we kind of think God has lost the plot in our lives. We may not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but guess what? God can, God is with you and never leaves you.

Paul said that he considered our present sufferings are not worth comparing with all the glory that will be revealed to us, and let’s face it, it’s only because Jesus was crucified for us, suffering a horrific death, that we can glimpse the glory that is promised us,

What we suffer now, our temporary status, will not overwhelm us, we have the Spirit to help us in our weakness, and if today you’re feeling helpless, read the words that God has promised,

when words fail us the Spirit intercedes for us in line with God’s will, just be still, allow his wordless groans to hit home, stand tall and recall that you are called for his purpose, predestined to be conformed to his image, you are justified and glorified,

and need I remind you that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, so if you are called, chosen, privileged to really know him then God is working this thing out, don’t doubt him

when things get tough, his love IS enough, abundantly able to do more than you can imagine, remember you’re his, your life predestined.
